From playing dress up as a kid to shopping with her mom and sister as a teenager, Amy Ann has always loved the way fashion allows her to express herself and be creative. “I personally love fashion. I love how getting dressed in different ways makes me feel creative and more confident. When I am dressed in a way that I feel good about – not even something fancy or overly special, just something that fits well and is put together – somehow life feels more manageable. I share what I do in hopes of inspiring women in a similar way,” Amy says.
Amy’s Style
Amy loves to express her creativity through her clothes. This makes it difficult to categorize her in one box. “One of the things I love about fashion is the ability to dress any given way on any given day. Somedays I feel like being ultra girly in a feminine dress. Other days all I want are my black jeans and buckle booties,” Amy explains
Having the freedom to switch up the vibe of her clothes dependent upon the way she feels allows her to convey so much personality through her clothing. It allows others to explore the multi-dimensions of Amy. That’s what led her to exploring the option of beginning a fashion blog!

Sharing Style
Blogging tuned out to be a pleasant surprise for Amy. She never had direct intentions on entering the blogging world, however it naturally came about with the way she chose to express her information. “I never anticipated having a fashion blog or really started my blog with the goal of being a fashion blogger. It started as a personal blog and just evolved into this as a natural reflection of my love for fashion, so I am just happy and proud that it is what it is today. I am thankful to have had the opportunity to work with some of my favorite brands, and to have attended NYFW.
One of my favorite and most rewarding parts of my journey has been meeting and connecting with other bloggers. When my daughter was born or got sick, I had genuine blogger friends reaching out to me. You make real connections,” Amy states.
Inspiration
Everyone has a little inspiration that propels them along the path that they choose to take in life. For Amy, it was her fabulous grandmother that exposed her to a world of creative expression. “Definitely! My grandmother was an artist, and I think her uniqueness and the way she saw the world inspired us all. At one point in her younger years, she worked in a department store and styled the front windows. I think she helped us all see fashion (and the world as a whole) as art. It affected my mom, sister, and I in a big way,” Amy says.
What about discovering new styles to incorporate into your look and style?
I love trying out new styles! I think it is the best way to stretch yourself and keep things from getting stale.
Who do you consider the icons in the fashion & design industry?
There are so many amazing bloggers out there big and small – too many to name – that I find inspiring. Honestly, it’s people out there doing it everyday that are the inspiring ones.
What’s next? & why?
Gosh, I have so many things I want to do. Work on my newsletter, experiment with new motherhood and family content, try new posts with different content about how to style things, etc. I just need to find the time!
